Mission of iTransfer

The iTransfer mission is to stimulate innovation and technology transfer in order to capitalize on research results by introducing them into the economic circuit in the form of innovative products and services.

Purpose of iTransfer

Directly addressing both the needs of academia for promotional services, the marketing of research results and the mediation of technology transfers, and the needs of businesses for consulting services on the implementation of innovative solutions.

Objectives of iTransfer

✓ Stimulating innovation and technology transfer

Development of national / international partnerships between European organizations, units with RDI profile and SMEs in Romania

Orientation of the scientific research topics of the academic staff towards the fields / sub-domains targeted by the national and international programs and towards the concrete needs of the socio-economic environment

✓ Formation of a generation open to the European and international scientific environment, in the spirit of innovation and technological development

Our story

The iTransfer Technology Transfer Center is the result of the project entitled “Dezvoltare experimentală în parteneriat public privat pentru crearea de platforme cloud autohtone cu caracteristici avansate de protecție a datelor” (“Experimental development in public-private partnership for the creation of local cloud platforms with advanced data protection features”), acronym PrivateSky, project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the Competitiveness Operational Program 2014-2020, priority axis 1, action 1.2.3, project type – Partnerships for knowledge transfer, Contract 13/01.09.2016, SMIS 106611, ID P_40_371, held at the Faculty of Computer Science of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași. The main objective of the PrivateSky project is the transfer of knowledge resulting from the research activity carried out within the Faculty of Informatics, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași (UAIC) to the IT industry.
