Anca Ignat is an associate professor at the Faculty of Informatics, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University in Iasi, where she teaches courses in numerical computation and digital image processing.

She has a degree in computer science at the Faculty of Mathematics, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University in Iasi. She obtained her Master’s degree in Numerical Analysis from the University of Paris-Sud XI, Orsay, France. He obtained a PhD from “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University in Iasi, Romania with a thesis on the approximation of optimal control problems governed by partial differential equations.

Current areas of research interest are digital image processing and computer vision.
