ARTCHAIN is a platform conceived to address a series of issues encountered by artists. The most dire problem is access to funding for art projects. Currently, the artist struggle to finance major projects, while expenditures related to sourcing funds are astronomical. ARTCHAIN is an innovative “crowdfunding” platform integrating blockchain technologies in order to provide security and transparency to transactions. The transactions are recorded in an online ledger that, by using the blockchain technology, cannot be faked. The ARTCHAIN system was integrated with PrivateSky for the public “ledger”, enabling full data control for the user.
